Survey Analytics
Problem
As a University, we run, analyse, and act upon multiple different surveys every year. Especially when responses contain free-text fields, these surveys are time-consuming to process manually and vital qualitative insights risk going overlooked.
Delivery
Through collaboration with the External Relations Market Insight Team, we developed a web application that allows users to upload a spreadsheet containing free text survey comments, choose specific topics to explore, and automatically generate LLM-powered sentiment analysis – as well as compare the results of different surveys side-by-side.
Outcome
This tool is about to enter its pilot phase, but initial testing reveals the potential for quickly gaining deep insights into questions vital to ensuring the University’s future success. As a team, this project further served the vital function of modernising and standardising our ways of working, through the generation of a template for quickly producing professional, easy-to-use prototype web applications.
