Campus Services Data Integration
Problem
Campus Services generate large volumes of transactional data through on‑campus tills, but this data was not readily available within the University’s central data warehouse. This limited the ability of service teams to analyse performance, understand usage patterns, and make operational decisions based on timely, reliable data.
Delivery
A data feed was developed to integrate Campus Services till data into the University’s data warehouse. Working closely with Campus Services, the Innovation team established a reliable, automated pipeline to ingest and structure high‑volume transactional data for downstream reporting and analysis.
Outcome
The integration unlocked access to approximately 1.5 million transactions per year, enabling Campus Services to make decisions informed by consistent, transaction‑level data rather than manual reports or snapshots. This provided a foundation for more effective operational planning, service improvement, and evidence‑based decision‑making across campus services.
